A Redditor named Mr_Incogno shared a funny moment that involves an NPC bugging out. In a clip that they uploaded, the player approaches the mage Falion to chat and complete a quest, but the NPC almost immediately flies away into the forest with no explanation. The conversation ends and Mr_Incogno looks around in confusion. While it had to be confounding for the player, it was still a hilarious Skyrim moment to watch.

Many other Redditors are enjoying Mr_Incogno’s clip. Some joked that the dragonfly seen in the clip kidnapped Falion, while others mentioned that this same bug has happened to a number of other NPCs in their playthrough. A few commenters jest that this is a preview for Starfield, with one saying that Falion was taken to be in the upcoming game. A Redditor states that Mr_Incogno’s clip is just classic Bethesda, while another states that people are going to be angry if the developer releases a game without glitches. It is also brought up that bugs like this are not exclusive to Skyrim and can be expected from future Bethesda games.

Mr_Incogno is just one of many to encounter a glitch in Bethesda’s RPG. Another player going by the name BeRnUgEek also experienced an odd bug in Skyrim. While exploring the game’s world BeRnUgEek jumps into water. When they come out, the game glitches and creates the visual effect that is applied while swimming. This causes the world to seemingly be covered in a dense fog. The player jokes that Skyrim suddenly decided to be Silent Hill, referring to the thick fog that gamers have to make their way through in the survival horror series. It is another of the odd occurrences that plague the games that the Elder Scrolls developer releases.

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
