Like other Zombies maps in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Dead of the Night features a Pack-A-Punch that players can use to greatly enhance their weaponry. And also like other Zombies maps in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, the process to unlock that Pack-A-Punch can be a bit complicated.
Before we explain how to unlock the Pack-A-Punch in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, we recommend anyone who prefers a video guide to check this one out by MrDalekJD:
Before players attempt to unlock the Pack-A-Punch in Dead of the Night, they will first want to familiarize themselves with the map and its locations. When ready, players need to head to the Grand Staircase and activate the Sentinel Artifact, which will grant them access to other parts of the map.
When that’s done, head to the Library, Master Bedroom, and Wine Cellar, in any order. All three of these locations will have a vase with smoke coming out of it that need to be destroyed. Inside each vase, players will find a glowing stone. Kill some zombies near the stone, and then interact with it when possible to get a vision of an item that needs to be found on the map.
Now, this is where things get complicated. There are a number of different items that the vision can show to the player, and each vision will lead players to a different item that has a different kind of challenge. For example, if players see a clock in their vision, they will first need to locate the correct clock (the three clock locations are the Billiards Room, the Dining Room, and the Main Hall), which will be discernible by its hands spinning out of control, and then interact with it. This will make a glowing blue clock face appear on the floor, which players have to stand in and kill any incoming zombies. Eventually, the clock face will disappear and players will be rewarded with a tuning fork for their troubles.
If the vision shows players a doll, they need to go to the Entrance Hall and interact with the creepy doll there. This will make a ghost spawn, which will lead players to a random location on the map. When the ghost disappears into whatever object it’s traveling to, it will reveal a tuning fork. The same goes for when players see a vision of a woman when interacting with the stones, except they need to interact with the painting in the music room to make her ghost appear.
There are two other ghost paintings that players can find when playing on the Dead of the Night map. If the vision shows an old man and a child, then they need to interact with a painting in the Smoking Room to find that ghost. If it’s a young girl in the vision, then the painting for her can be found in the East Gallery.
If players see a rope in the vision, then they need to go to the Wine Cellar and interact with the rope that’s hanging on the back of the chair to make yet another ghost appear. If a scroll is in the vision, players need to head to the Study and examine the open box on the bookshelf to find the ghost.
The vision can also show players some of the perks on the map, and if that’s the case, they just need to head to where that perk is located, kill some zombies, and eventually they will be rewarded with another tuning fork. Get a tuning fork from all three stone visions and then it’s time for the next step.
With all the tuning forks in hand, players need to make their way to the Forest entrance. Since they have the tuning forks, they can get through the black sludge blocking the gate and make their way down the path to the Pack-A-Punch. Just watch out for the werewolf.
