Certain actions decide where Yaga’s Mortality lies, as players are free to choose between the good or the evil side of Yaga. However, it’s possible to change sides later on with The Mage’s Staff after defeating it at the Crystal Tower if they ever regret their decision in Blacktail.

How Morality Works In Blacktail
Morality depends on Yaga’s Deeds towards the forest creatures and how she chooses to collect her resources. Saving a trapped bird, helping a hungry hedgehog, putting a Bobok out of his misery, and helping Mr. Larva all fall under the good Deeds options in Blacktail and aid Yaga in gaining a good reputation.
However, slaughtering an innocent soul, destroying the bees hive, aiding the ant queen, and signing a contract with Boruta the devil grants players an evil reputation. It’s easy to define whether Yaga did a good or an evil Deed since the latter is represented by a moon icon, while the good Deeds are symbolized by a sun icon.
Morality is the most important part of the game since in the beginning Yaga is immediately put under the burden of choosing between the good and evil side in Blacktail. Players are able to check their last five Deeds to keep their Moral Stance in check and gain their desired Morality title.
How Moral Stance Works
Moral Stance is the bar at the bottom of the Morality page screen in Blacktail. Each Moral Stance grants Yaga a unique benefit. The following Moral Stances provide good buffs:
Good Gracious Noble Pure Good
These Moral Stances increase players’ resources quality and the Broom’s durability. It also enhances their Hocus power, and the Pure Good Stance gives Yaga a second chance at life.
As for the evil Moral Stances:
Evil Corrupt Rotten Pure Evil
These Stances are there to enhance players’ vitality, as they use Hocus or slay enemies. It also increases The Broom’s damage and its durability. It should be noted that Hocus is the magical power that awakened in Yaga’s Gauntlet after visiting The Hut for the first time in Blacktail.
How To Gain Morality Titles
Morality titles are given to players that complete their corresponding tasks. The latter can lead to Yaga earning a good title among others or a viscous title that can darken the young girl’s heart. The following Morality titles grant Yaga a good reputation:
